You see, SGE hasn\u2019t been rolled out yet, so no one actually knows how to go about optimizing for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nonetheless, the possibility of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/ptg-marketing.com\/ch-de\/seo-for-ai-search\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1708\">AI search<\/a>\u201d becoming reality is staggering, so forward-thinking marketers are scrambling to find out as much as they can to prepare themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For quite some time now, SEO has been mostly about user experience (UX) \u2013 that\u2019s no secret. But NOW, with the onset of AI, making users feel \u201cat home\u201d when visiting your website is even more important. So, it\u2019s time to step up the game.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, rather than tell you all the steps to do modern SEO, I\u2019ll simply present the differences between classic SEO and modern, SGE-oriented search engine optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SGE-Optimization vs. Traditional SEO<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As previously stated, SGE is still only theoretical. But if I\u2019d have to optimize for it (and I am doing so with every site I manage), I\u2019d pay attention to the insights in this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my humble opinion, SGE-optimization would differ from traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/ptg-marketing.com\/ch-de\/true-seo-blueprint\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1375\">SEO done right<\/a> in several key ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Focus on User Experience:<\/strong> SGE-optimization prioritizes a positive user experience by understanding user intent and offering highly relevant, engaging content that directly addresses users\u2019 needs. This means going beyond keyword stuffing and prioritizing in-depth, valuable content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Intent-Driven Ranking:<\/strong> Traditional SEO often focuses on keyword placement, while SGE would go deeper, understanding the user&#8217;s true intent behind the search query and ranking content that truly fulfills that intent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Schema &amp; Structured Data:<\/strong> SGE-optimization might heavily utilize schema markup and other structured data formats to accurately convey the meaning and context of website content, allowing for more precise understanding and ranking based on user needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content Quality Emphasis:<\/strong> Instead of focusing solely on keyword density, backlinks, and meta descriptions and titles, SGE-optimization would prioritize high-quality, informative, and engaging content that resonates with users and provides significant value. Don&#8217;t just stuff keywords; explain concepts clearly and offer solutions. Read your user\u2019s minds and create content FOR THEM \u2013 not for search engines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deliver quick answers, then dive deep:<\/strong> Offer a brief yet concrete answer to your users&rsquo; query right at the beginning. In my experience, when the query is &ldquo;What is XYZ?&rdquo;, it&rsquo;s best to start your piece of content with &ldquo;XYZ is &hellip;&rdquo;. Then, expand upon your answer in the following paragraphs to prove you truly know what you&rsquo;re talking about. In fact, I find it smart to do the same after every H2 title, if possible: &lt;h2&gt;How to do XYZ&lt;\/h2&gt;, &lt;p&gt;Here&rsquo;s how to do XYZ&hellip;&lt;\/p&gt; &hellip;and then go really deep in the following paragraphs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-a5331a9e wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prioritize quality and comprehensiveness:<\/strong> Strive for well-written, informative, and engaging content that covers the topic thoroughly. Remove pop-ups wherever possible and reduce the number of ads to a minimum. Please. Do it for your users.
